Everet Jasper Penn

Everet Jasper Penn, 99, of West Lafayette, formerly of the Carroll County area, was called home to be his Lord and Savior Thursday, June 2, 2016 in West Lafayette.

Everet was born to the late Otto Levi and Katurah Bridge Penn on September 8, 1916 in Flora, Indiana.   He was raised in Carroll County and in his later years his engineer degree took him to California where he worked for 31 years with Hewlett-Packard retiring on December 31, 1984.

Everet graduated from Rockfield High School in 1935 and from Indiana Technical College in 1939.  He served our country during WWII in the US Navy.

During his time in California he attended Pennisula Bible Church.  He was a member of AIEE (American Association Electrical Engineers)

There are no immediate survivors:  He has a great-niece and great nephew.  His sister Eva M. Rifner precedes in death.

Friend may call Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Wheeler Family Funeral Home-Baker Chapel Flora. Graveside service will follow at Paint Creek Cemetery near Camden.  Rev. Rob Eyman officiating.  Carroll County Color Guard will conduct military service at grave.
