The family and friends of Paige Mackenzie Barnes, would like to share with you a bit of who this gorgeous girl was and what a blessing she was to all who knew her. Paige loved her family, friends, her two dogs, sports, country music and life.  She had an infectious hearty laugh and a mega watt smile.  She lit up a room with her presence.  If you were lucky enough to know her and be loved by her you were blessed, when she loved you, she loved you completely and unconditionally.  She chose to be a donor at age 16 and will now be a Christmas miracle for those who received her gifts and their families for years to come.  It is our wish that those receiving will do so with a grateful heart and will one day know what a brave young lady she was and what a huge heart she had.  We thank you for the kindness, compassion and caring during this process and pray that the recipients receive their gift without complications or rejection. “Fly High Christmas Angel”

She is survived by her parents: Greg and Michelle Barnes of Flora.  Brother:  Josh Barnes of Flora.  Sister: Kinsey Barnes of Burlington.  Her boyfriend which she made her home with, Logan Jackson of Flora.  Maternal grandparents:  Jerry Barnes, Linda Brookshire and Stan and Jan Gilman all of Burlington.  Several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Paige’s family invites friends to visit Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Carroll High School.  A celebration of Paige’s life will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the school.  Rev Larry DeVos will officiate.  Burial to follow at Ball Hill Cemetery, near Cutler.  Memorial donations may be given to Angel Fund, c/o Indiana Donor Network Foundation, 3760 Guion Road, Indianapolis, IN 46222.

Words cannot express the sorrow I feel for you and your family . Nor Can I understand your pain . I wish I could comfort you. Thinking of your wonderful memories helps but it doesn’t ease the pain. One breath at a time one minute at a time. Praying for you all. I made a small donation in honor of Paige . Take care my friend. Don’t be afraid to reach out to family friends and even strangers.
