Charles “Charlie” Russell Dill, 72, of Logansport and Deer Creek, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024, in Indianapolis after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Charlie was born to the late James and Barbara Jernigan Dill on July 8, 1951, in Rochester, IN. Charlie graduated from Rochester High School in 1969. He retired a year ago from the trucking industry after driving for over 50 years. He was a very proud owner of a red 1999 Peterbilt with over 2 million miles on it. Charlie is survived by his companion of 14 years, Marcia Giddens. His little buddy Chase. A son and granddaughter. Stepmother. Charlie was preceded by his father, mother, stepfather, brother and sister.
Following Charlies wishes, there will not be a service or Celebration of Life. Wheeler Family Funeral Home-Baker Chapel Flora is honored to serve the Dill Family.
