I am so sorry for your loss as I had been hoping that I could get up there before too long to renew family ties. 1957 was last time I was there when we burried my mother’s adoptive mother. We love you Meg and family.

    Meg, Jeff, Lisa, and families–
Dale was such a wonderful man–an extra dad to many of us. My favorite memory is when I called your house early one morning when my parents were out of town. I could not get my car to start and was frantic, needing to get to work. Dale answered and was at my house in under ten minutes. Figured out what was wrong with the car (really nothing…chalk it up to teen driver angst) and got me on the road–much calmer and ready for my day. As a parent of teens now (well…adults…), I think I more fully understand all the facets of that morning–Dale took time to make sure that someone else’s kid was safe and ready for their day– even though it probably put a wrench in his morning. I appreciated it as a kid and cherish it as an adult…the world needs more Dales. Hugs and much love to all of you! –Sarah

A man that will be truly missed by his friends and family but was welcomed into Heaven with arms opened by our Lord and Savior! I know he’s with mom and dad probably playing the card game that brought so much fun and laughter to our home while growing up! My only regret that is that I didn’t get to spend more time with a man that was like a father to me! You touched so many lives with your smile and friendship! Love you Uncle D.A.
