Emerie Grace Cochran, 9 days old, received her angel wings on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Riley Children’s Hospital. She was born on April 2, 2026, in Indianapolis.
Though her time here was brief, Emerie was deeply loved and brought immeasurable joy to her family from the very beginning. She will forever be cherished by her parents, Jackson and Kayla Cochran; her brother, Beau Cochran; and her sister, Callie Cochran, all at home.
Emerie’s life on earth was celebrated and will be remembered by four generations of family. Maternal family: grandparents Andrew and Brandi Fink, as well as James and Erin Miller; great-grandparents Billie Seaton, Linda Fink, Robert Cook, Betty and James Miller, and Jean and Charlie Gaumer. Paternal family: grandparents Gregory and Tina Cochran, and great-grandparents Patricia and William McCracken. The circle of remembrance extends to four uncles, five aunts, and numerous cousins, each holding her memory close in their hearts.
A Celebration of Emerie Grace Cochran’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Gathering Point Church, 7201 Wesleyan Drive, Dayton, Indiana. Family and friends are invited to gather and share in remembrance immediately following the service. Pastor Ryan VanMatre and Brian White will officiate.
A private burial will take place at Nevelsville Cemetery in Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Emerie’s memory to the Gathering Point Kids Ministry.
