Homer D. Jones, 87, of Attica, formally of Carroll County, died Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Indiana University Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. Homer was born to the late Homer G. and Lessie King Jones on September 15, 1933 in Greene County, TN. Homer married Katherine J. “Sally” Short on September 24, 1956 and she preceded him on October 12, 2003. Homer worked for the City of Logansport Municipal Utilities Water Department and retired in 1993. Homer is survived by his companion, Mary Anne Parker of Attica. Caregiver: Larry Babb of Attica and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his parents, wife, brother- Robert L. Jones and four sisters.
Friends may visit, Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Wheeler Family Funeral Home-Baker Chapel, 204 S. Center Street, Flora, IN 46929. Graveside Service at 2:15 PM at Maple Lawn Cemetery. Officiating will be Lee Howe.
