I loved my father and he was always interesting to talk to. He was almost never serious and always joked around. He battled cancer in various parts of his body in many of his late years, but never let it get in the way of his humor and ability to make you laugh. Until my fathers death I could say he was my best friend. He was the only person in the world that understood me completely and always had a way to make me feel better when I vented about something to him. I loved talking to my dad about the Cubs, Bears, and just sports in general. There are a lot of things I will never have again due to the loss of my father, but I will never for one day forget him. Love you dad and will miss you every day of my life until we meet again.

    Where do I start,
I cannot tell you how lucky I am to have known Joey(dad). He was always such a goof ball. Almost as if he had a bag of tricks stuffed in his pocket. He always made sure that I knew he loved me. He was there to just listen and try to help me understand. What can I say I have alot memories like him making me cry at my wedding, uno, phase ten, talks, hot dogs over fires, Rita’s dish, a beer here & there. The best thing of all he created my best friend, my husband. No words can describe how I’ll miss him. I won’t say good bye… Only one day I’ll see you again.

The world lost a special soul with this one! Always a big smile and a warm hug. Rest in Peace without any more pain, my friend. Until we meet again, play some jokes on Nick and razz him a little just to keep in practice

    Much Love
    Heather

I’m so sorry for your loss. Joe was a classmate of mine & we graduated together. While you lose contact with some, I remember Joe as a very kind, gentle person. (Although he & Jeff would yell at me across the river.). May you find comfort in your memories.
