Louis E. Pinkard Jr., 74, of Bringhurst, IN passed away Monday, February 21, 2022, at his home after a courageous battle against pancreatic cancer. Jr was born September 5, 1947, in Haleyville, AL to the late Louis E. Sr and Mildred James Pinkard. On February 20, 1971, he married Patricia Ann Buttice in Logansport, IN and she survives. Jr worked at the Brethren Home in Flora and Carroll Schools in maintenance. He also owned and drove a truck. Jr was a graduate of Carroll High School in the class of 1965, he proudly served our Country in the US Army. Jr enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was an outdoorsman spending time fishing with his son and building and enjoying cars and motorcycles. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Pat. Son and daughter-in-law: Mark and Brandy Pinkard of Flora.     Patty, Mark, and family – so sorry to hear about Jr, our thoughts are with you. Some of my fondest memories come to mind thinking about Jr – sitting in lawn chairs in your driveway drinking ice tea talking about everything (and nothing), being invited in and eating pizza when I stopped by and Mark wasn’t around, a time he got behind me in his truck (I didn’t realize it was him) as I slowed for some tracks and he got so close that all I saw in the mirror was his grille and he laid on the horn – he laughed so hard when I saw him the next time…
