Margaret A. Schenck, 75, of Flora, joined her family that have passed Friday, June 1, 2018 at St. Elizabeth East Hospital with her family at her side.
Margaret was born to the late Reverend Arthur and Rachel Kinkead Schenck on February 14, 1943 in Lafayette, IN.
She was a 1961 graduate of Argos High School and a member of the Bringhurst United Methodist Church, where her father served as minister in her younger years. Margaret worked for 40 years at Sayco in Flora from 1964 to 2004.
Margaret is survived by a sister: Marthena Smith of Missouri. Nieces and nephews: Terry Moore, John Schenck, Phillip Schneck, Sandra Viney, Jeff Viney, Jerry Smith, Donny Smith, Pam Smith, Patty Patten, Steve Smith. Two sisters-in-law: Hazel and Janet Schenck. She is preceded by her parents and two brothers: William and Robert Schenck, an infant sister: Mary Belle and sister: Marjorie Viney.
A graveside service will be at 1:00 PM Monday, June 4, 2018 at Maple Lawn. Pastor Joseph Boggs will officiate. Memorial contributions may be given to Bringhurst United Methodist Church in memory of Margaret A. Schenck. Wheeler Family Funeral Home-Baker Chapel Flora is honored to have served the Schenck Family.
