Max A. Eikenberry, 96, of Flora, died Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Milner Community Health Care in Rossville. Max was born to the late Monroe and Chloa Flora Eikenberry on October 29, 1926, in Miami-Dade County, Florida. On April 10, 1949, he married Helen Oyler in Carroll County, and she survives. Max farmed all his life in Carroll County. Max and Helen wintered in Homestead Florida since 1985. He was a member of the Flora Old German Baptist Brethren Church. Max is survived by his wife of 74 years, Helen Oyler Eikenberry of Flora. Two daughters: Linda (Duane) Wolf of Rossville and Leah Eikenberry of Flora. Daughter-in-law: Wanda Eikenberry of Ohio. Seven grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded by his son-Dale Eikenberry, his parents, two brothers and one sister.
The Eikenberry Family invite friends to visit Thursday, April 27, 2023, at the Flora Old German Baptist Brethren Church from 3pm to 5pm and 6pm to 8pm. Funeral service will be at 10:00am Friday at the church. The Home Brethren will officiate. Burial to follow at Musselman Cemetery.
