Rustin N McIlrath, 44, of Flora entered Heaven’s gate Sunday, February 22, 2026, at his home. Rustin was born on May 11, 1981, in Lafayette to Randle McIlrath and Tina Mocherman Lukis. Rustin worked at McCord Tires in Monticello and Hubbard and DeFouw prior to becoming disabled. He graduated from Carroll High School. Rustin is survived by his mother: Tina Lukis of Flora. Brother: Brandon (Brooke) McIlrath of Delphi. Half-brother: Randy (Taylor) McIlrath. Half-sister: Marissa (Cory) Hecksthorn. Many nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his father Randy.
