Teena M. Jones, 67, of Cutler, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at her residence with her son, Justin, by her side.
She was born on December 25, 1957, in Frankfort, IN to Earl F. Creasy and Patricia L. Creasy. Teena graduated from Carroll High School in 1976. She recently retired from IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette where she worked for several years in the central scheduling department.
Teena loved her granddaughters and enjoyed spending time with them. She also enjoyed shopping with her friends. She attended the Faith Church of Christ Church in Burlington.
She is survived by her son, Justin Swinney (Amanda) of West Lafayette; granddaughters, Rebecca Swinney of Rochester, IN, Grace Swinney, Maddyx Swinney, and Wavelyn Swinney of West Lafayette; a sister, Cathy Kingery (David) of Cutler; a brother, Michael Creasy (Greg Surber) of Chicago, IL; and two nieces, Jessica Kingery (Chad Shaffer) of Flora, and Carly Kingery of Indianapolis.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of Teena’s life will be held at noon on Saturday, August 2 at Wheeler Family Funeral Home-Baker Chapel, 204 S Center Street, Flora, IN 46929. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation or an organization of the donor’s choice.
